The Spring Equinox arrives on Friday, March 20, 2021, and marks the moment when the light of day equals the dark of night. A corresponding opportunity exists within you to find a point of inner balance. As the days grow longer under the nurturing light of the Sun, use your increased energy to spread greater kindness and love in our world!

Good News
You may be getting weary of negative news, so I'll begin this forecast with a piece of good news, which is that a more peaceful period is coming under the confluence of loving Venus and benevolent Jupiter in the nurturing sign of Cancer on June 9, 2026. This will be a time when it will be difficult to wage war or express negative energy or intentions. Rather, the accent will be on protecting, preserving, and nurturing what we have.

Potentially Disruptive News
Yet, unfortunately, planetary patterns continue to portend volatile and tumultuous world events in March, April and May, prior to the more peaceful period in June. This is due to the influence of aggressive Mars in conjunction with several eclipses and karmic points in the sky along with 8 celestial bodies lining up in Aries from April 15-18th, the entrance of activating Uranus into Gemini on April 25th, and various exact alignments of Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Unprecedented and powerful planetary patterns will continue to manifest rapid change as we reimagine and rebuild our new world later in July and August. Fasten your seatbelts!

Pray For, Think About, and Visualize What You Do Want
We are witnessing the breakdown of the "old" to make way for the new. We are learning new and more enlightened ways of relating to our own lives, to each other, and to Spirit. But the old, less enlightened ways, motivated by fear, aggression, and greed, are now strongly surfacing for healing. We all need to pray about, think about, and visualize what we do want for the future-rather than give energy to what we don't want.

Learn to be an Acrobat
Like a trapeze artist who lets go of one acrobatic bar before getting hold of the next, we are in midair right now, waiting for the next trapeze bar of societal reordering to be within reach. The current planetary patterns are surely helping us to become good acrobats! Looking back to recapture the past is less helpful than looking forward right now.

Realignment of Global Alliances
Clearly, many old world alliances are breaking down and new alliances are forming in unfamiliar patterns. Unlikely as it may seem, the disunion will eventually lead to greater union. The fractious, conflictive, polarized world we currently are experiencing domestically and internationally will serve to unite the world when things fracture enough for all to understand what is really going on so the pendulum may swing the other way.

Power of the Light from the I'Ching
If you are worried about the power of any darkness in the world, take heart.
According to the I'Ching, "The dark power at firsthand so high a place that it could wound all who were on the side of good and of the light. But in the end it perishes of its own darkness, for evil must itself fall at the very moment when it has wholly overcome the good, and thus consumed the energy to which it owed its duration."  The Divine surely has a way to transmute the darkness into light as the result of the prayers and positive intentions of so many sincere souls on Earth!

Planets in Air & Fire Signs (action-oriented, male energy)
With so many planets now in male-oriented fire and air signs (Saturn & Neptune together in the first degree of the fire sign of Aries as of February 20, 2026; Uranus soon to be in air sign of Gemini as of April 25, 2026; and Pluto in the air sign of Aquarius), the world is ready for nurturing female-oriented energy to create balance. This is how a new equilibrium will be established-rather than adding more male energy, or fuel, to the fire, gentle but direct, healing female energy will be called to the fore. 

Female Energy Will Reverse the Tide
A woman leader is likely to come to the fore in 2028 or 2032 who will rebuild the bridges that have been burned. The western powers will cautiously reunite. And the takeover of Venezuela and the gambit for Greenland, while unthinkable just a year ago, will ultimately (although not in the short-term) prove to unite northern and southern hemispheres. Again, it's hard to imagine right now, but more peace-loving leaders, most of whom we may not already know, and who are less reliant on "might makes right," are on the horizon.

Time to Individuate
Meanwhile, employment data and anecdotal data suggest that fewer people are working. Not only is this because of a shifting economy, but the planetary energy is now more oriented toward self-development, individuation, individualism, and spiritual growth rather than oriented toward making money (despite the appearances of some who are holding onto the old way). Less focus on money and more focus on giving from the heart will become more prevalent as money, in some cases, is more easily had than it used to be--when cryptocurrency and stocks continually appreciate in value (at least for now). For some young people, it also seems as if many parents or grandparents are currently well-off enough to pay the bills for the younger generation. One way or another, people are finding ways to get their needs met, even if through trade, gifts, or charity--rather than through working full-time in an office or warehouse. Remote work is giving people more flexibility as well.

Free time is becoming more precious than money. As an example, a doctor friend of mine reduced her hours from 5 days/week to 3 days/week to pursue personal interests. My ambitious hair-cutter told me she is not taking new clients, even though she is well before retirement age. And another friend decided to pursue artistic interests and cut back on work as well!

Think the Unthinkable
Additionally, things that were unthinkable, frowned upon, or even  illegal are now becoming commonplace, such as wearing pajamas in public (slippers too), or two cars going through a stop sign at the same time, or smoking marijuana in public. Initiating a war in the Middle East also had been considered unthinkable...but here we are...we certainly will be integrating a new reality in the coming years...these are just a few examples of the changing paradigms we face. It's time to think outside of the box for greatest success. About the Iran war, it began under the oceanic sign of Pisces between a Solar and Lunar Eclipse, during Mercury Retrograde in Pisces, and on a Void of Course Moon in the water sign of Cancer. This does not bode well for a clear and focused  objective or a clear and focused outcome. It looks like the fall-out from this"skirmish" could continue for a long time with a clear resolution being elusive. The parties involved may have done well to consult an astrologer for a long-term prognosis!

Reimagine and Create the Future
Rather than lament the past, however, our energy is best used to reimagine and recreate the future. I know it seems as if the old way was "better." But challenges to the status quo are inevitable. The challenges ultimately will make us "better" as we learn to navigate the waves of change with equanimity, peace, poise, and positivity. Staying positive and prayerful while remaining aware rather than ignoring the circumstances around you will bring you the greatest peace, satisfaction, and success even in the midst of unexpected or surprising circumstances.

 

Pray for the Highest
Please don't forget to pray for a more peaceful, prosperous, abundant, fair and equitable world!

Meanwhile, karmic Saturn and spiritual Neptune in Aries since earlier this year may be prompting you to question which of your feelings are real and which are imagined. It could be challenging at times to put emotions into perspective. If this occurs, try to step back, take a deep breath, and see the situation from another person's point of view. LEO (July 23 - August 22)

Until then, it's important to stay quiet, become centered, and practice humility as you await your "stage call." The Spring season is a good time to catch up on projects that have been delayed or put on the back burner. It's a good time to return correspondence, clean house, catch up on reading, and generally, get your launching pad ready for your trajectory this Summer! Also pay attention to your dreams and premonitions in this boundary period before the largest planet in our solar system (Jupiter) leaves the Sign of the Crab and enters the Sign of the Lion. (The equatorial diameter of Jupiter is 11 times greater than that of Earth. And 1,300 Earths could fit inside of Jupiter, so it carries celestial weight!) Finally, transformational Pluto in your opposing sign of Aquarius until 2044 will give you plenty of time to transform unworkable areas of your life so they may proceed smoothly.
